Conveyers
A belt type passenger conveyor, comprising a belt conveying passengers riding thereon and a drive system circulating at least the belt in a main frame. The belt is formed in a double structure having a conveyor belt and drive belts . The conveyor belt circulates along a first circulating route formed in the main frame. The drive belts circulate along a second circulating route formed on the inside of the first circulating route. Then, the drive belts are brought into contact at least with a part of the inner peripheral surface of the conveyor belt to transmit a drive force for circulating the conveyor belt to the conveyor belt .The drive system comprises driving mechanisms generating a drive force for circulating the drive belts.
